Call for papers - PBFEAM 2008

The PBFEAM 2008 Conference Committee invites submission of papers for the 2008 Conference; "Innovation for a Sustainable Future: Visions for 2020."

Paper submissions are now closed.

Details for Authors

All paper submissions must be submitted electronically and must be received by Monday 31 March 2008. Papers must be submitted for review in only one (1) discipline area. Hence, authors should identify the most suitable discipline area relating to the subject matter.

Details of the online submission process are given at Guidelines for Papers. Papers must conform to the format instructions. Please keep an exact copy for future reference. Papers will be subjected to formal double blind peer review. Decisions by Discipline Chairs are final. Please see key dates for submission and revision deadlines. It is a condition of acceptance of the paper that at least one of the authors must attend the conference and present the paper. However no author may present more than two papers at the conference. Papers will be judged on their overall quality and their contribution to the theme. Papers that merely review the literature are discouraged.

Publication Note

All papers accepted for presentation following the formal review process will be published in the Conference Proceedings CD. These proceedings will be provided to all conference delegates, and will be available for sale to the general public. This procedure is designed to satisfy the conditions required by the Australian Government's Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) for the recognition of papers in the Proceedings as Category E, Conference Publications: E1 – Full Written Paper – Refereed. Proceedings will have an ISBN number.

To be considered for publication in the RQFA, RPBFMP or AQAFA* (in line with previous years' practice), the author should indicate their willingness to participate on the online paper submission form. Your submitted paper, along with the submission fee of AUD$110 (approximately equivalent to US$100) will be sent to the Conference Co-ordinator, Professor Cheng-Few Lee. Professor Lee will decide whether the paper will be published in RQFA, RPBFMP, or AQAFA in accordance with the reviewer’s comments.

Submission Process

Please submit your paper for consideration. Authors will be notified of acceptance, rejection and/or suggested modifications on Monday 14 April 2008.
